1. Who we are
Driftr ("Driftr," "we," "us," or "our") operates the platform at driftr.solutions, including hub manager, member, and staff portals, public join and event registration pages, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@driftr.solutions.
2. How the Service works
Driftr is a platform that helps organizations ("hubs") manage registrations, payments, communications, surveys, and internal requests. Each hub is run by its own organizers. When you join a hub or register for an event, you are interacting with that organization through Driftr.
Hub organizers decide what information to collect from members and how to use it for their programs. They are responsible for their own communications and compliance obligations toward their members. Driftr processes data on their behalf to provide the Service.
3. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Driftr, we may collect:
- Account information — email address and password (stored in hashed form) when you create a Driftr account.
- Profile and membership information — name, email, and optional phone number when you join a hub or register for an event.
- Hub and event activity — registrations, survey responses, staff requests, invoice status, and related records tied to your account or email.
- Payment information — when you pay an invoice or event fee, card and billing details are collected and processed by Stripe. Driftr does not store full card numbers.
- Communications metadata — delivery records for transactional and broadcast emails sent through the Service.
- Technical information — browser type, device information, IP address, and similar data in server logs and authentication sessions needed to operate and secure the Service.
Hub organizers may upload additional information about their organization and members, such as roster details, event descriptions, and announcement content.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Create and manage accounts, hubs, memberships, and registrations
- Process payments and subscriptions through Stripe
- Send transactional emails such as confirmations, invoices, and account notices
- Deliver hub announcements and surveys initiated by organizers
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
5. How we share information
We may share information in these situations:
- With your hub — organizers and authorized staff for a hub can see member and registration information for that hub.
- Service providers — we use trusted vendors that help us run the Service, including:
- Supabase (authentication, database, and hosting infrastructure)
- Stripe (payments, subscriptions, and Connect payouts to hubs)
- Resend (transactional and broadcast email delivery)
- Legal and safety — when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Each service provider is permitted to process data only as needed to perform services for us and is subject to appropriate contractual and security obligations.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Driftr uses cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and protect accounts. These technologies are essential for the Service to function. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work if you disable them.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain hub records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. Hub organizers may also retain member information for their own operational needs while their hub remains active.
If you delete your account or request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to remove or anonymize personal information, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business needs such as payment records.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and infrastructure provided by reputable vendors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
For hub-specific questions — event details, roster status, invoices — contact your hub organizer first. For account or platform questions, email support@driftr.solutions.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another region with data protection laws, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
10. Children
Driftr is intended for use by organizations and the adults who manage them. Accounts should be created by individuals who can enter a binding agreement. If a hub collects information about minors as part of a program, the hub organizer is responsible for obtaining any required parental consent and complying with applicable laws.
11. International users
Driftr is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your home country.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of Driftr after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
